Remeber Not All 5 Miles the Same/RE: (TV) In offense of Cover (hee hee)



By the way---- there are four versions of "5 Miles of You"; don't judge the
song based solely on the version on the CD of Cover which has its ending
chopped off.

Me too.  I don't especially love Cover compared to most of his other
solo albums (although I think Cover and Words could be taken apart and
their tracks mixed and matched to produce two better, more consistent
records)... but 5MOY is certainly one of the highlights and a definite
career keeper.

Admittedly I think I stopped reaching for Cover as often as I would if
the CD wasn't so completely bungled!  I eventually made my own
"corrected" version on CDR but have kinda let it sit as an archive
item rather than enjoying it as I should.  Perhaps tonight...
