Naive Q / RE: (TV) Dumb guitar tech question

How much more difficult is it to play (master) a 12-string
Compared to a 6-string? (Less than twice as hard?)

Is Verlaine's guest work on the Luna cd his only 12-string recording?
Does Fender make a 12-string?

Can you imagine Richard playing a 12-string?

I have a McGuinn Rick and the dynamics on that instrument are almost
non-existent - it's a one-trick pony, but boy, what a pony! Or trick.
Anyway, McGuinn himself said "the more you squash that signal, the better
it's going to sound." Max out the compression and use only the bridge
pickup .................(
