(TV) NYDolls, the 40% Solution

Saw them last night, they played for over 80 minutes.  Only encore was Human
Being (outstanding) and last song of the set was Personality Crisis.  Jet
Boy was also outstanding.

Safe to say they exceeded my high, but reserved, expectations.

Turns out that Sylvain Sylvain, who was seperated at birth from Joe Pesci,
was the other distinctive voice in their songs and neither he nor David Jo
has lost a lot in the last 30 years.  I was afraid that it would be some
scary Mick Jagger thingy.

So we were all really pleased.  It was like their homecoming.  Lot of
closure or synthesis in returning to Village.

Haven't heard the recording yet, but I'm sure it's fine.
