Thanks.

And I wish I could describe music as well as you  (and I'm not being
sarcastic or fooling around).

I believe being able to describe music is extremely difficult thing to do
well.

Just to be clear - what I said was :

The similarities to my ear are the staccato "angular" guitar explosions and
what seemed like dual guitar lines as well as some modal sounding scales. 

What I believe is that two artists can be very similar and never have had
any contact similar in some respects to how two cultures can be similar (
say the Mayans and the Egyptians ) and never have had contact.
