Re: (TV) First recorded Television moment

In 1979, I found MM and Adventure in the cutout bins at a department store
like Woolworths in northern Virginia, in a 2 for $5 sale. I was fairly poor
and could only afford cutout albums at the time.

I had read about them in
the Rolling Stone a couple of years prior, and had just read the Verlaine
article in the 1979 Musician Player and Listener mag. Took a chance on them
and was blown away.

Cheers,

Brian

After reading
the Nick Kent review in the NME my brother bought Marquee Moon
a few days
later. I was hooked from then on.
