If the memory serves me well, it was 30 years ago, there were a few catchy tunes on their first LP. But after that their music became a mommoth. But yes, it may had been worse ways to lose your virginity. Have to admit I thought it was pretty cool experience back then. Wish it had been Bowie. I was already a big fan but I had to wait another year to see him. Or Television...

I posit that a sentient being can like both Rush and Television. This one
does. Both bands express a musicianship that is over the top. Both bands
have lead singers,who, are definitely acquired tastes. The similarities may
thin out somewhere around here. I'm sure Alex Lifeson and Richard Lloyd
admire many of the same guitarists including Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page and Buddy
Guy. It is no shame to have had a Rush concert be your first.
