Here's the understatement of the year from Tom:

"Richard has done a couple of
solo tours in the past five years and I don't want to go into it because I
don't want talk badly about people. Let's just say Billy ended up quitting the
tours because he feared for his life."

One notable thing
about this article: In all the talk over the last decade about whether or not
Television was recording a new record, I think this is the first time Tom has
ever mentioned it himself.
