(TV) RE: Wasted talent

...some of the nostalgia may because, in many respects, Tom has wasted his 
talents for the last decade.

Strong, contrary opinion, Paul Jay.  I like it, and commend you for it. Has 
he really wasted his talents, though?  Certainly he has not produced 
high-quality, high-energy, nervy rock 'n roll since the last Television 
album.  Has that been because his interests have changed? Or because he even 
the reunion album sold squat, and he is dissillusioned with that world?  Or 
because he does not feel that rock is the province of the middle-aged? Or 
has the rock muse abandoned him? Or has depression overtaken him, or does he 
now wallow in self-pity?
