(TV) Thurston Moore
Tom and I saw Thurston Moore play a solo show at the Cooler in NYC in
September 1999. It was a three piece: Thurston on electric guitar, Wally
Shoup on horn, and a drummer from Japan. Thurston was amazing, reminded
me of Stravinsky. Thurston's first band, the Coachmen, sounded a lot
like Television.
