RE: (TV) rap



I've got to agree with Scott here - I just don't like Rap.
Its not the fact that its a black thing, or that its confrontational, I 
just don't enjoy listening to it.
I haven't heard any rap that moved me in any way at all. I don't even hate 
it - I'm just totally indifferent to it. Thats the bottom line.

As I type this I am listening to a soundboard recording of Television, 
07/03/78, The Place, Seattle.
It is so good I could weep... So, ok it was 22 years ago, but it still 
makes my hair stand on end.
(actually what makes me weep is the fact that I only have 20 minutes of the 
show, and the guy who owns the original master soundboard tape says his 
tape which has the complete show has now been destroyed by the ravages of 
time).
Big bummer.
