yes...the same willie alexander.
no...it's him on piano with a coupla guys on sax, clarinet, other horns &
another cat playing drums, guitar, bass, programming, etc.
can't recall their names & the cd's at home....nobody i recognized...boston
dudes, i'm sure..the recording was funded by the gloucester council of arts.
recent release....it's a conceptual piece, around 15 songs all about his &
the area's memories...it's great.
lowkey, tho some numbers do rock & i love his vocs..the phrasing, off key
spoken stuff...great.
