That's a good point, folks - you don't need to quote the entire previous
message in your response to it, especially if the previous message was a long
one! Edit judiciously. A good rule of thumb is to keep the quoted material in
your message equal to or less than the length of your 'new' material.

Digest subscribers will benefit the most from thoughtful editing, but so will
standard list subscribers.
