What was Tom wearing on Valentine's Day, and who was he with?  He has a
favorite red sweatshirt he wears on Christmas, on Valentine's Day, and
on other special occasions. It's a hooded sweatshirt. Tom used to be
obsessed with a building on 4th Street near Lafayette. It's called the
Silk Building and it's above Tower Records and across the street from a
tiny alternative record store. I don't know why it's called the Silk
Building. Maybe it was a silk factory before they made it into a luxury
apartment building. Tom Cruise, Cher, and Russell Simmons of Def Jam
Records all have apartments there. Keith Richards owns a three story
apartment in the Silk Building but Keith is seldom there so he lets
friends use it. Sometimes I stay there and I look out the window and see
Tom staring up like he does on the cover of Cover. Then we sometimes go
out to dinner to a place called Little Poland on Second Avenue. He likes
to eat in Polish and Ukrainian places. He orders stuffed cabbage. He
also likes the Indian restaurants on Sixth Street between First and
Second.
