Yup,

NMH is from Georgia. They're led by Jeff Mangum...a rather eccentric singer/
songwriter. He claims his house is haunted and that he's seen spirits walking
through the walls. They also feature a trumpet player named Scott Spillane.
The trumpet gives them a different kind of sound then most of the bands they
are associated with (Apples In Stereo, Olivia Tremor Control, etc.). 

Reccomended: In The Aeroplane Over The Sea (1997) & the songs "Two Headed Boy"
and "Holland, 1945". 

The recordings have a retro 60's kind of sound, probably because they are 
produced by Robert Schneider from the Apples In Stereo (I think he produces
them, at least).

I, and the rest of college radio, am still waiting for their follow-up to
In The Aeroplane Over The Sea.
