Ummm....

Supergrass is sort of this snappy clever brit-pop group

For Stars is really hushed, twee pop. Very gentile. One review called it
   camimille rock.

Beulah is like pavement crossed with Pet Sounds Beach Boys and later Beatles.

Marah is considered to be part of the alt-country scene (they're on Steve 
     Earle's label E-Squared), but it's not really accurate. They're a total
     mishmash of everything rootsy. Some songs sound like gutbucket blues,
     some sound like Uncle Tupelo, some sound like Motown! It's a strange 
     and compelling record.


These descriptions probably suck, but it's the best I could whip up at the 
     present.
