The question to listers would be, given the lukewarm response a number of people have had to the recent Luna efforts, how are they doing live these days?

Subject: Underground Bazaar at the Warhol Museum FREE LUNA SHOW! 8/4/2000

Underground Bazaar at the Andy Warhol Museum.
August 4, 2000
5:00pm - 10:00pm

Event Description:

An indoor and outdoor festival that will expose and celebrate aspects of
underground culture relating to Andy Warhol's life.  Proposed
highlights:

Live music from Luna who has as a noted Velvet Underground influence.
With
local rock band Boxstep to open the show. (Outside on Sandusky street.)

An exhibition of various underground publications including newspapers,
journals and artists' books from Warhol's collection.

A lecture, in conjunction with this exhibition, by Barbara Moore from
Bound
& Unbound in New York, an avid collector and authority on underground
publications.

Local record, zine and comic book collectors will display and sell their
goods on the sidewalk, in front of the Museum.

Psychedelic films will be screened in the museum theater. Featured
underground independent filmmakers will include Jordan Belson, Stan
Vanderbeek, and James and John Whitney.


Here is the schedule for the evening.

5:00 - 10:00	On-going "happy hour" scenario with cash bar
and snacks. "Tapas" menu in cafe. Museum admission is
FREE                              from 5-10pm.

5:00 - 10:00	"Vendors" selling records, comics, zines and other
pop culture collectibles, both inside the museum
and                                    outside in the parking lot.

5:00 - 6:30	FILM: "The Love Ins" or other psychedelic films in
the theater

6:30 - 7:15	LECTURE by Barbara Moore on Underground Press of
the 60's, in the theater.

7:15 - 8:00	BAND: Boxstep (outside in the Warhol Parking Lot)

7:30 - 10:00	FILM: "The Love Ins" or other psychedelic films in
the theater

8:30 - 10:00	BAND: LUNA (outside in the Warhol Parking Lot)
