RE: [(TV) MM heard thru ran orange juice can]

You folks should jet over to Mike Watt's page and download the video of him
and Nels Cline, and the drummer doing a SMOKING version of "TV Eye" by the
Stooges.

You will not be disappointed.

That's a Quadra they recorded that on. You can see their studio on their
website for their mulit-media company. I don't have the URL, but will
include it when I do.

I've been mulling over this since one of my current listening
obsessions is the new Louis Armstrong box--4 great CDs freshly
remastered...from 78s. The first tune has the audible pops and
clicks, but either that's only for contextualization and they're
later digitally removed, or (far more likely) one becomes used to
screening them out.

OTOH, I'm currently listening right now to the Poster Children's
_DDD_, recorded digitally...in their basement...on an old 680X0 Mac.

It is indeed the music that counts.
