I remember distinctly that Sebastian Bach of Skid Row took a lot of flack for 
wearing the shirt "AIDS kills fags dead."  I also remember that he made a 
public apology that was something like "I'm real sorry that fags can't take a 
joke".  As for GNR, I never could stand them, but I do think "Sweet Child 'O 
Mine" is a good pop single.  Also, didn't they cover Johnny Thunder's"Can't 
Put Your Arms Around A Memory?"
