RE: (TV) CDs at the office/office commute

Like Howard I am not alowed to listen to music at work, but in my car on way to work and at home last night:

Luna (compilation cd)
Ken Burns Jazz documentary [8 cds, friend from Guatemala left it at my house]
Tom Verlaine 1st solo
Miles Davis, Kind of Blue
Tom Velaine, Cover vinyl version(latest MM list debate inspired me to listen; I have to agree with Maurice, I like this record; maybe seeing this album performed live at Ritz in 84 clouds my judgement, but I don't believe so.)

Y'know, a piece of tape about 6-8mm wide stuck to the bottom of the
disc can make these things kind of interesting to listen to, if the
player does error-correction. Of course, you'd have to have access
to the player.

If I ever get a phone system that lets me do hold music, it's going
to be Martin Denny's _Quiet Village_.
