RE: (TV) Richard Lloyd 1985 or '86 show

Richard would occasionally play the Ritz in NYC during that period.  I saw him there in late December 1985 when he opened for-- I believe--- the Feelies. Richard did a great set including a nicet cover of the Dylan song with the line ("..in Juarez .. and you ain't got nothin' but negativity to pull you though..."[Tom Thumb's Blues??], but he looked very unhealthy, emaciated and old---like someone from a death camp--I assume he was still on heroin then.

In the deepest, darkest recesses of my drug-addled memory, I remember seeing 
Richard Lloyd play a show opening for Adrian Belew (with the Bears?) at some 
club in NYC in late 1985 or early 1986. Can anyone throw out some potential 
names of the club and possible dates?  I know I could pin it down with some 
clues.
