(TV) Mea Culpa

Well, I (happily)did my pennance and I listened to Blank Gen and Destiny St. 
and I fully admit that I was wrong about Richard Hell's proficiency on bass. 
I throw myself on the mercy of the court. I don't know why I never noticed 
the strength in his style before-perhaps because I was too blown away by the 
dual guitar attack of Quine and Julien, or absorbed in the singing and 
lyrical concerns. Or maybe it was that Verlaine pushed him out of Television 
because he didn't like to practice and he wanted to improve the musicianship 
of the band. Whatever the reason, now I know-RH could hold his own. On bass, 
I mean.
