(TV) Viper Room

Tom's Viper Room show happened spontaneously in 1996. Jimmy Rip knows
Johnny Depp, who owned the Viper Room. Rip suggested Tom play there.
Tony Shanahan played bass because he was in town with J.D. in Patti
Smith's band. It was a four piece. The show got a fantastic review in
the LA Times. After the show Tom was in a minor car crash and he hurt
his knee. A reckless driver hit the car he was in.
