(TV) Rainforest Benefit NY

possibility.) Tuesday March 6, Beacon Theater rainforest benefit
(Rainforestalliance.org). About ten bands, blues, classic rock. Keith
Richards. All instruments played will be Smart Wood certified made from
wood tracked from environmentally managed forests. Gibson Guitar
sponsors Smart Sounds. Gibson is now producing their Les Paul Standard
line using Smart Wood certified mahogany and maple. I don't know about
Fender. Steve Jordan, producer and drummer (he'll be playing with Keith
Richards and Bobby Keys at the Beacon) is arranging the benefit. Steve
has the only Smart Wood certified drum set in existence. He played it at
the Academy Awards last year (Don Was produced that show). Keith
Richards has contributed a ton of money to the cause. Tickets are $50,
$70. The $250 and $450  tickets get you into the party after. Beacon #
