I've just been listening to the 28/12/76 CBGB show, during which some
woman in the audience keeps talking loudly about her mother, so I'll be
doing that at Camber Sands. Ray and I will also be screaming
"ROCKANROOOOOOLLLL!", but only during the very quiet bits. If that
doesn't get some response from Tom V. then we'll be forced to change
tactics at Shepherds Bush and alternate loud requests for "Stairway To
Heaven" with ones for "Field of Fire"

(I see in this month's Q Magazine Doug McCombs of Tortoise, with
reference to Television and Camber Sands, is quoted as saying, "I just
hope they show up!" Don't we all...)

Seven days to go and so far this year is turning out pretty damn fine.
