I saw U2 @ SUNY, Stony Brook, NY in the gymnasium, for the October tour.
Bono walked out on the shoulders of the audience, and stopped at my friend
John and I. I held his hand to steady him, while he finished singing....
well, that part I do not remember.

That's the one I tell, because no one recognizes the names of the other
'rock stars' I have met.

My cousin went to Woodstock and was struck by the flying body of Abbie
Hoffman as he left the stage courtesy of Pete Townshends boot - 'get the
fuck off my stage' .

My cousin relates that story every day to someone . He dines off it , as
they say .
