Re: (TV) Iggy / PBS Rock and Roll

How come no one is mentioning the first Stooges album? I'd
place it above Raw Power-- "1969"/"I Wanna Be Your Dog"/"No
Fun"/etc are all essential Iggy songs.

On a related note, the "Wild Side" episode of PBS' "Rock
and Roll" series will be shown next week (on Friday on my
local station). Features the VU/Bowie/Stooges/Doors. Then
two weeks later, the Punk episode will be on-- TV/Ramones/
Blondie/Clash...

Lou Reed's "Walk on the Wild Side" just came on the radio--
how's that for a coincidence? They cut out about halfway
through to play Gregg Allman though.
