Re: (TV) Re: TV Digest V1 #438

Thanks Nick
Indeed it does, saddo obssesive that I am :-)

I now badly want a Boss VB2 Vibrato pedal, and not simply because Lloyd uses one although that is a contributing factor, I belive it to be the wobbly sound heard on the melody lines on "This Tune" and "No Glamour for Willi" - although I could be wrong. The VB2 is just a great all-round pedal for modulation freaks, sadly not made anymore, now I just have to find one that works for under $275!

BTW, have you tried the new Boss PH3 Phaser? Having not liked any of their previous phasing efforts I was astounded at how good it was, it can do 4/6/8/10/12 stage phasing, lots of vintage sounds in there, plus some very strange step modes. And I don'think it costs anymore than a reissue MXR phase 90 either.

Dan

According to Mr. Lloyd, these are the stomp boxes he used at the Chicago show:

Ibanex Tube Screamer TS808
Boss Super Overdrive
MXR phase 90
Boss Vibrato pedal
Ibanez Analog delay pedal

Hope that satisfies you...in some freakish capacity or another. ;)
