(TV) Dreamtime

When I asked Tom why he called the album Dreamtime he told me about a
movie called The Last Wave in which Richard Chamberlain plays a lawyer
defending an Australian aborigine. Dreamtime is a mystical concept in
ancient aboriginal culture. He said another movie that inspired him was
The Sky Above, The Mud Below, a French documentary about primitive life
in New Guinea. Tom inverted the title and put it in Red Leaves. ("I
asked my darlin' why she talks so slow. She said it's the mud above and
the sky below")
