i'm gonna try & make it up to seattle later this month
to see the fall cos i haven't seen em in almost 2
decades & what i've heard from the last 2-3 albums has
been choice stuff (tho amidst the usual ranting
dreck)...from european tour reports, he's got a band
of younger garage-rockin dudes behind him & the sound
is a mix of psychobilly/garage with smith on
top...sounds good to me.
brix ain't been around in a long long time.
my only caveat would be that the setlist is primarily
new numbers (meaning within the past 3-4 yrs...one
thing i'll always give me smith is due for being one
prolific mofo...)...if yr not into the recent stuff
(tho give "the marshall suite" a try), it might not be
worth yr time/$$.
glad to see there''s yet another vic godard fan on the
list!
