how 'bout that Charley Patton box set?! hot damn. wish i had the money. 
another reminder of why we were goddamn lucky to have Fahey around for the 
time that he was here.

recently saw a Dredd Foole performance that was a collaboration between Pelt, 
Chris Corsano, and Thurston Moore. stunning. Foole says he's got plans for a 
new album (the first since 'in quest of tense' from '94!), and that this band 
could be featured on it.

also, the Double Leopards have some Taj Mahal Travelers-style drone albums 
worth peeping. keep your eyes peeled for a great offshoot called Shackamaxon.

Paul Flaherty and Chris Corsano (played w/ Verlaine and SY a while ago) have a 
great cd out on Ecstatic Peace, too. seen them sizzle many times. check out 
yod.com to get their shit.

i'm also fucking ON the new Charlambides/Six Organs of Admittance split lp.

not to mention the load of Get Back! reissues. as long as they keep crankin' 
out those ESP's and Actuel's, i'll be happy.
