Okay, just downloaded the Billy Thorpe version and this is the version of
"Children of the sun" I recall. As far as proto-butt-rock goes, it's not a
bad song. Sounds like Sammy Hagar and co may have picked up a few licks from
these guys. Still I remember digging this song when I was in something like
9th grade .  Definitely does not sound like a mid sixties beat-psychedelic
band ...
