actually, the last jagger album (wandering spirit)
from 93 had some great songs on it & nice playing to
boot (courtesy of jimmy ripp, tv's ofttime
sidekick)...the new one, "goddess in the doorway", is
execrable & it ain't even relative (lenny kravitz
helps out, if that's any indication).
& as for rather hearing richards sing, yr being
silly...i love keith dearly & am fanatical bout his
solo work, but the stones woulda never been the stones
(meaning as powerful) without mick...
from my vantage point, it's fascinating to see how far
mick sunk his teeth into the thin marrow of celebrity,
yet keith remains aloof & hip to boot...
