Richard Widmark, huh?  The actor who early in his career played a guy who deliberately pushes an old woman in a well chair down a long flight of stairs to her death . Doesn't sound like our old Tom.

Leo, I think the review is only in the print version. You'll have to
wait for it to hit the newstands. The title of the review is Guitar Geek
Orgy and the reviewer, Rob Sheffield, wonders why Verlaine hasn't
released a "proper solo album" in fifteen years. He mentions that Tom
introduced himself to the audience as Richard Widmark (film noir hero).
