I don't really feel what was asked regarding the drug rumor 
involving Buckley and Verlaine even merits a response, 
but maybe what's in the MM Archives will prevent such 
nonsense from being repeatedly asked.

PS: Can I absolutely prove that TV didn't do heroin back then? No.
(But I am as certain that he didn't as I am that the sun will rise

i always come out of the woodwork with the seamy
stuff.  :)  

i was talking to a friend a few weeks ago about tom,
jeff buckley, etc., and my friend seems to have gotten
it into his head that jb's death was in part caused by
a heroin addiction that was brought on by -- you
guessed it -- tom verlaine.  

is there any truth to this?  it sounds a bit fishy
that tom would still be into heroin at this point...
