the wombles, my first ever gig was going to be the wombles, but I was sick and fat boy from along the road got my ticket and I was totally pissed off, crying my heart out, the lot - never since have I been so annoyed at missing a gig ! (I mustve been aboot 5 ?)

but it turned out the gig had been cancelled anyway so we all missed out which made me feel better

the wombles eh, thanks for bringing up that memory, did ye know that chris spedding was the guitarist ? mad
