Re: (TV) Alice's Double Meaning in Choice of Word 'Bleed'?

for a very horrified/horrifying take on menstruation, check out devo's "gut feeling"

song to have a singularly menstrual meaning.

I obviously never listened to his lyrics closely enough even
though the wife-beating 'sub-plot' was right there.

I guess I was guilty of dismissing the song as just another one of
Alice's long line of exploitation/shock rock with its blood
reference---a reference that might cause Grammar-school
boys to snigger and titter together (with a mixture of embarrassment)
about a female bodily process that is not uncommon for male juveniles
to incorrectly typify as 'gross'.
