RE: (TV) Wasn't Tomorrow Wonderful?

Just a theory. But it's pretty obvious that every song relates to the
central concept. The opening song is an intro about coming of age. The
middle stuff is all cheerful and innocence and the last song is a summation
of all that went before, bringing us back up to speed. Cover art, liner
notes etc all play off that 50's diner motif.

And if you know Chris, please ask him if he as any tapes of the Bottom Line
shows. They were great. And ask him if any of it was inspired by Holly
Maddux.

I knew her growing up in Tyler Texas.

i love the waitresses, too, and i talk with chris
butler once every few months or so. that said, i
never realised _wasn't tomorrow wonderful?_ was a
concept album that told a story in the same way as,
say, _in the aeroplane over the sea_ or, uh, _tarkus_.
is this something he's made clear, or is this just a
theory of yours?
