(TV) Kershaw session date?

I have a tape, received during the mid-80's (my first involvement
in trading) that's titled 'Tom Verlaine - Electric Ballroom,
4.10.84'. The Ballroom tracks last about 75 minutes, and the
c15-minute space at the end of side two is filled with 4 tracks
that aren't listed on the inlay sheet.

The tracks are (track times approx):

	Cry Mercy Judge (4:04)
The Scientist Writes A Letter (3:24)
	Bomb (5:22)
	A Town Called Walker (2:55)

The first 3 tracks have the unmistakable voice of Radio 1's Andy
Kershaw back-announcing the band & track titles, so I've always
assumed that this is a session for his radio show. After Bomb,
he also says 'Recorded in the basement and produced by Martin Colly
and Fred Kay'.

The last track has Verlaine singing/talking briefly, and not very
distinctly, after the band stops playing.

Is anyone familiar with this session? Any idea as to the date it was
recorded? Maybe March 1987, as Verlaine was in the UK at that time?

One other oddity about this tape... the tracks listed for the Ballroom
show are Rotation, Souvenir of a Dream, Penetration, Dissolve - Reveal,
Glory, Swim, Clear It Away, Marquee Moon, Kingdom Come, Psychotic
Reaction, Red Leaves, Wild Thing, Kingdom Come. Rotation doesn't actually
appear on the tape though.

The track list for the Electric Ballroom bootleg (as listed on 'The
Wonder') includes Rotation and matches the list on the tape apart
from the lack of the second Kingdom Come.

all the best,
