Any ideas why the 2 LP Live set was never issued on cd?

Ok, don't kill me for this, but also why the Engelbert Humperdinck LP's from 
the 60's and 70's are not issued on cd. Sure, he's got a few greatest hits 
compliations, but not the original Lp's on cd. I just read that he has the 
largest active fan club in the world of 8 million members.
