by now everyone must know about this.  even when it is
expected, a person's death can catch you by surprise,
the finality of it.  surely he was a man who used his
life to lift the world up.  a worthwhile legacy and a
worthwhile goal for everyone.

there was something universal about his music.  not
only could he cover trent reznor and beck...but folks
like tom were also able to make good use of his songs.
