It certainly is a lot doggie doo. How we humans love to numerically rank
things that are numerically un-rankable ! To Rollingstone's credit, their
list of Rank-Meisters is an impressive one, but it comes down to one's
subjective taste. How, for instance can one state  that a record by The
Mammas and the Pappas is one numeric step 'greater than'  a certain album by
a band we all know and love...Who can assign these rankings? It's just plain
silly. I do have new found respect for Moby who lists Marquee Moon as one of
his top ten favorite records.
