(TV) rhino's "no thanks!"

a review of the new rhino set in today's paper, along
the lines of "punk is older now than rock and roll was
when punk began"..."we are dinosaurs."  i liked this
part:

"what's alarming is that this set bears all the
earmarks of something that you wouldn't buy for
yourself (since you've already heard a lot of this
stuff), but that you'd eventually manage to convince
yourself that someone in your house -- your teenage
step-daughter, say -- would really enjoy.

"christmas morning in america:  scores of resentful,
disappointed girls stare uncomprehendingly at their
new copies of 'no thanks!' as their unshaven,
coffee-swigging stepfathers hover enthusiastically
nearby, pointing out favorite tracks and reminiscing
about shows they attended..."

i thought it sounded like a good strategy, if someone
was looking for ideas...
