(TV) ot: creekdippers

totally ot here, but wanted to give a heads up that
the creekdippers are heading to europe.  they're
booked at the borderline in london april 8.  i can't
recommend their live shows enough.

the creekdippers are mark olson (formerly of the
jayhawks) and his wife, vic williams.  they are a real
treat live.  very loose, uplifting, varied, lots of
fun.

like many of the best u.s. artists, they get a better
reception in europe than at home.  folks were piled
out the door at their last borderline show.  in
contrast, there were about ten folks present when i
saw them in houston -- did better in austin.

i think they also enjoy touring europe because it is
cooler.  vic has ms and is sensitive to heat -- often
requests that stage lighting be turned off.

btw, they are also taper-friendly.  and i will send
practically anything you could want to anyone who gets
me a tape of any show :).   (please!  please!)
