Re: (TV) OT Village Green Preservation Society

Ty,
Thanks for the tip-I looked on this website for this series & found that an old frind of mine, Joe Harvard, had written one on "The Velvet Underground & Nico"-Quite a coincidence,eh? Anyway, I just e-mailed him about my discovery-Also, coincidentally, just got an e-mail from another old friend, Rick Harte, who put out a 45 by The Infliktors (my ex-band) that he was going to put outa remastered collection of all the Ace of Hearts singles & was considering doing a CD of unreleased Infliktors material, of which there is quite a bit & a lot of it quite good-
lots of coincidences going on around here
Lee

Fans of this album (as am I) might want to look for the really fine book about its making that came out last year. Part of a series called "33 1/3" from Continuum Books where they get a rock writer or (better) a musician to go off on seminal work. The Kinks one is by Andy Miller; I've also read the one on "Dusty in Memphis" by ex-del Fuego Warren Zanes which is idiosyncratic and funny. Joe Pernice of the Pernice Brothers has one on "Meat is Murder" that sounds good too.

Good list -- do I hear for a call to push for "MM"?
