(TV) OT: Elvin Jones RIP?

This just came in from from the Zornlist (having been forwarded a 
couple times before that and seeming to originate in Japan).  Anyone 
heard any actual news confirming or denying?  Reviews of recent shows 
have suggested that he'd been in very poor health.  Very sad if 
true--the man was a giant, and the drumming on "Afro Blue" from 
_Coltrane Live at Birdland_ still gives me chills.
