The Palladium was torn down to make way for dorms for NYU. I saw a lot of 
shows there...beginning when it was The Academy of Music, prior to be renamed The 
Palladium. The Stones played there in '65 I believe. But, like a lot of the 
great music venues in NYC (Fillmore East, Bottom Line, Max's .....it has gone 
the way of the Dodo.
