Hi Emilie,

I'm a big believer in using external hard drives for stuff like this. It takes a lot less time to transfer several GB of files using a reasonably fast hard drive connection (IEEE-1394/Firewire, or USB 2.0, or something) than it would to burn all that to CDR and then copy it all over. I'd recommend buying the largest external drive you can afford, as you will fill it eventually.
