Howzabout "Psychotic Reaction" as trotted out by Televsion at just about every reunion show ever? That there is a riff...

Unfathomable that neither the Kinks or the Byrds are represented.  Not only did they recycle the hell out of their own riffs... whole bands made careers out of doing the same.  There's that whole story about the opening figure of "Days"...

And hey, no Who!  Still, I guess someone needs to be left aside to make room for MM.  Which must surely be the song on this list which repeats its riff the most... does that make it your best riff value?
