Re: (TV) New MC5 worth seeing?

Saw both the MC5 and The Who in Sydney last week. What year is this anyway?

Can confirm that the MC5 are definitely worth catching. For the Australian
leg of the tour the MC3 had Deniz Tek (Radio Birdman) guesting on guitar
with vocal duties shared between Mark Arm (Mudhoney - lead vocals on about
half the songs) and Evan Dando (lead vocals on about a quarter of the songs)
with Brother Wayne singing the remaining songs.

The show is billed as a celebration of the music of the MC5. Setlist
covered all aspects of the MC5 and it was a damn fine night indeed. Brother
Wayne is in fine form and Dennis Thompson is still a fantastic drummer. The
band recorded the show for sale after the gig. Sound on that live disc is
fantastic

I know that there is a MC5 live dvd entitled "Sonic Revolution" that was
recently released here that was recorded at the London 100 Club late last
year that features Nick Royale and other guest vocalists.
