I think I mentioned it when "A Ghost Is Born" came out, but listen to "Spiders" on that record... I think you can hear Tweedy doing a pretty extended Tom/Neil Young hybrid lead guitar workout.  Maybe that puts us in Richard territory.

Wilco as a touring outfit now features Nels Cline, or so I'm told; Television is certainly up there among Cline's formative influences.  He's been known to play both Little Johnny Jewel and See No Evil as a member of Mike Watt's band.
